DAY 4: SSL at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games Thailand 2025)
Bronze Medal to Myanmar After Tight Podium Battle
Chon Buri, December 18 – Myanmar delivered a breakthrough Grand Finale in the SSL at the SEA Games, fighting through light air, course changes, and a tight podium battle to secure a place on the podium in Pattaya. The team briefly led upwind and stayed locked in a head to head fight with the Philippines, while keeping Malaysia in sight until the finish. “We will attack more than defend. We won’t sit back and wait for it. We will go out and do our thing,” said skipper Sithu Moe Myint ahead of the race – and that’s just what they did. Myanmar will continue competing at the SSL Gold Cup Qualifier from 20 December at Ocean Marina Jomtien, Pattaya.
